small report:
headed up to Stampede pass today and crystal springs area to adventure around on the new sled, find some new playgrounds and some new ways about
fun day up there today, puked snow all day, the pooh pooh wet sloppy kind. but up higher it was defenitely dryer and really starting to stack up again.. i'd say 8" tops in the last couple days, by the end of today, with a nice colder front moving in, tomorrow is gonna be sweet, saturday and sunday even better.. well except for the mobs. the visability today was a battle, the roads and beat down ungroomed sections were getting better and smoother by the end of the day with the snow filling in.. hardly anyone there today, that was neat indeed..
snapped a few mild mannered pics,
i have no idea where this was, but it was a top a fun little playhill
this little steep climb section was all freshies till we mobbed it.. still new to sledding so today and all the fresh no tracked lines were pretty fun for sure..
buddy banged a tree right in the rear somehow... maybe he can explain?
i liked this cool dead looking tree and with a buddy sledder in the BG even better
i would love to see some probro's rocking up through the chutes in the top of this face into the next section.. looked pretty rad
pretty much a liesurely day of chilling, small climbs, some fun boondockin tree runs, poor visability and milage... the last couple miles were pretty wet ones getting back to the snopark, all in all though a super fun day for this newb..
