ST Helens?

Has anyone been up to St Helens yet? I am thinking about heading down there on the 1st or the 2nd from Olympia. A long drive but if there is a lot of fresh snow it's the place to ride. Looking for conditions out of Marble mt. snowpark.

Marble Mountain December 29, 2008:

Snow Depth: 7'+ of snow and new snow is continuing to fall. Check the SnoTel web site for updates.

Rating/Remarks: Sno-Park permits are now required.

Road Information: Forest Road 83 is open, single lane only, no turn-arounds. Plowing activity in progress, please use CAUTION! The road is now gated east of Marble Mountain. Forest Roads 90 east of the jct. with Forest Road 83 and Curley Creek Road have not been plowed at this time due to a break down of equipment.

Grooming: Check website for grooming updates.

Attn Snowmobilers: Permits required above 4800 feet on Mount St. Helens. Special access restrictions apply. Non-motorized corridor on climbing route is closed to snowmobiles
