The weather report just changed. Rain in the morning and then just cloudy after that. I will be up at St Helens by 12:30

Why does it seem like that nobody in the Portland/Vancouver area ever rides? I have made a few posts about wanting to ride St Helens or Adams and get no responses. I am new to the area and have been out of sledding for about 6 years and just bought a new sled. I ride on Sunday and Mondays. i wish I could go up today but oh well. lets see if we can drum up soem excitment about sledding around here!!!!

i used to think like that also but on a day when you think man i wish i had someone to go for a ride with hop in youre truck and drive to marble and there will be others just like you if you are up there by 8 or 9 you can tag with someone any day of the week

How about a conditions and road report? Driving down from Tacoma area on Sunday for a few days and I would like to know how the riding is, how is the road up to Marble, is the cabin open? Wood?

There was almost a foot of snow\ peanut butter in the marble lot yesterday. Road had 3 ruts down to pavement. Not sure on the wood. Should be lots left. Cabin is open.

Road today(Friday) The road is fine normal wet heavy snow. Sun was out up Pine creek to the left. Good riding if you don't snap off your suspention brackets.
Thanks! I was concerned about the road, but ruts down to pavement sounds like even my POS Suburban can handle it! I bet it will get burned out tomorrow with traffic!
