Srx help please

HELLO FRIENDS!!!!

have a 01 srx since new. no problems till now( atleast i could figure out) looked through the 18 pages and no posts like it...

sled ran great last year stored it for summer and went to restart it and nothing. no light or spark. pulled the kill switch and key and nothing. brought it to the shop in chicago (goodwin performance) a known performance and clutch shop and they have had it for 1.5 months and nothing. everything tests good currents in electrical but no spark. says they took another srx stator put it in ran for 10 min then shut it off and would not restart. both stators are still good. run fine in the other sled. said they checked cdi box and coils and nothing. all still has correct current or voltage in the wires??????????

anyone have any ideas or if this is possible. said they called yami 2 weeks ago (before thanksgiving) and they have not responded. tech line i guess. anyone know what i could do. sled is still up there but they are stumped to. willing to try anything..

THANKS IN ADVANCE :beer;:beer;

look at the wires underneath the motor on front side they had a problem of the wires breaking underneath in that area.
questions pm me.

Bingo....The wiring harness rubs through under the motor. You will have lots of problems untill you pull the motor and repair the wiring. Eric

That wire problem under the motor was only on 98's
Might be the load control relay, does the light light when you pull the sled over?, should come on a second or so after the engine start's
Voltage regulator could be a problem
Start by doing a test on the stator, it's 3 phaze and all phazes need to be the same 50 plus volt's, if it's OK unplug every load, headlight's, grip's tailight etc

Check the stuck throtle safety switch. It will kill the entire system also including the headlight. Ha one get water in the throttle block and freeze up and acted like yours. I forget how to bypass it, but it was a pain in the a$$ in the dark on the trail.

Oh, never saw that but then again we didn't have long track SRX after 98 so there were none in my area
The problem usually showed as weird tach problem's and intermittant power valve function before the sled would quit

still checking....its at the shop and been there twice since then. stator , coil are good. checking harness wires under the sled and up to the handle bars. diconected kill and all grips and still nothing. no light or spark. pulling the harness today or tomm. TY said to attatch a coat hanger to harness pull carbs offf and pull wires. use hanger to get wires back to the hood. will see.

THANKS TO ALL THE IDEAS GUYS

I had trouble with an 03 Viper Mtn. It turns out that it was the harness
under the engine. I didn't even see any damage (without unraveling it) to the wires but that’s what was causing it.

Thats were I'd put my money.
