Hi to everyone and riders like Graham, Nick, Peter, Dale, and others who have already posted here.
I ride a 2008 Nytro with a Mcx 240 turbo kit here in B.C. and ride Brohm, Brandywine, Rutherford, Rainbow mostly. It has taken 3 seasons to build this thing and it is great with the 2010 low angle 162 Timbersled track and Yamaha 2010 front end. It also has a VanAmburg tunnel with heated footboards and rear tunnel cooler, as the stock 08 tunnel is, well, ugly. The seat is a Mountain MOD, 1st investment, then a TrailTank, a must have, [artic cat 4 str turbo mtn will take sales with their stock 10.6 tank]
Last year Justin at E2 Designworks did a one off sled wrap for me combining the west coast sleds design with an ink and iron design and it came out well.
The mod tunnel meant the mcx exhaust had to be cut back to fit and put an exhaust deflector on, in order to use the tunnel's built in gas rack, and it sounds deep and business like.
Have had the usual problems,
bend the clip, straighten, bend, straighten and reinforce, bend
ecu failure, no warrantee
starter solenoid
mcx turbo 10 pin connector water problems
stock springs soft
track poor in powder
track splitting
stock drivers gone[avids still going]
oil tank weeping [don't powder roll]
lower plastic panel failure
relay issues [2010 units upgrade]
trailtank screws disappear
hifax eater, but hate wheels
mcx air intake location[use a snorkel in pow]
clutches[after 9200 km, 8000 boosted]
blown engine at 9300 km detonation [running Chevron 94]
3200 km on the first belt
2600 km 2nd
1800 km 3rd
1200 km 4th
400 km to new clutch
