Spx piston rings, which one on top?

I just opened up theSPX Piston package and was going to install the rings on the SPX piston
and

There are two different rings in there

One has like some kind coating on the outer circumference, not really shinny enough to be crome but a litghter colour than the rest of the ring

The other ring is all solid black

So I need to know which ring goes in the top ring groove

Nothing in the install instuctions
So I tried the search on here with no luck
I tried Google also no luck

Can someone please shed some Facts on this issue

If I am not mistaken the black one goes on the bottom and the chrome one on top. Also most of the time one ring is thicker than the other and can only be installed in the right groove.

I googled rins and in general the special ones go on top

so thats what i did

I think they were the same thickness

I was going to check both time but I had them installed each time i remembered lol

any way it will be running soon enough
