Anyone have any input on the snow conditions expected to be had March 17-23 in the Grand Mesa Colorado area? We are planning a trip out that way, hoping its not to late to get some powder. Last year was Togwotee in mid-feb. This trips gonna be a little later. Should we be looking at going futher north? Trying to find somewhere thats hopfully not to setup. If we have to we might have to move the trip up a few weeks. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated...

Come on down, from what they told me there are plenty of open cabins...
March is prime riding all over the west. And I expect the Mesa will be in it's prime by that time. Shoot, if this winter is anything like last years spring riding won't start until June.

we were going to stay there, however we ran across Electric Mountain Lodge... We kinda like the idea of being snowbound... Although I am trying to find some thoughts on both places. From what we hear, EML has less people, and the snow is supposedly less tracked up...
