So I'm doing my annual clutch inspection/service on my '02 800 Edge, and one of the things I'm going to replace is my primary spring. My jetting is right where I want it, and I'm about 100-200 rpm shy of where I want to be, so I'm thinking a spring with a higher compressed rate. Am I right? I like where it engages, so I believe I'm only wanting to change the 1.25" rate. I'm kinda new to clutch tuning, so let me know if I'm completely off here. Anyone have any suggestions for a new spring that'll help me accomplish this?
Current primary setup:
10-60 weights
black spring with green mark
completely stock engine
9,000' - 10,500' elevation
Thanks!
