Spring missing

noticed this a while back but kept forgetting about it. Besides the fact that it may have broke, is there a reason why my front skid shock would be missing the spring?

So, just to be clear... The FTS has no spring on it and you continue to ride it this way? It would be easy for the jam nut and adjuster to come loose, and allow the spring to come loose but it would be next to impossible for the shock not to be broke and the spring to be gone. Eric

The shock is there and in working order but the spring is gone. I just got the sled and haven't rode it yet

Previous owner must have removed it. In theory, the Pro probably doesn't even need a fts, but I've never tried it...

Ah, ha! Good point. Is it a Fox Float? No spring on those.

Just goes to show you there are jack wagons who sell sleds like this, and get away with it. Good you caught it before riding it. Ski pressure on the first turn would have been abit noticeable, but you wouldn't have to worry about a wheelie over...
