Spring for shockwave ?

Just added a srockwave to my tapex.used the black spring that was in their.ended up turned all the way in . iwas told to try a red white cat spring? im running supertips at 4to8000 feet.any help appreciated. thanks brad

You want to run the Cat green spring at 30 degrees.

I know I have seen the chart on what letters and numbers get you your degrees, But can someone repost this for me?
Is the cat spring alot heavier than the stock yamaha?

its alot stiffer than stock spring another good one is erlandson purple or alpine black spring

go to dennis kirk website and get the epi purple at 1-0, the 1 is on the shieve and the 0 is on the helix. by two there cheap and when your rpm starts dropping off replace it.

its alot stiffer than stock spring another good one is erlandson purple or alpine black spring

The Alpine black spring is the cat green spring painted black. Do not know about the erlandson purple spring.

The Black Apline spring is the Purple Cat spring unless they switch in the last year
