Spread Axle

I am considering a 28' gooseneck with a spread axle. Any reason to not to go with one? What's the consensus on them?

The benefit is they are a little more stable towing. I don't think they're much different on these trailers though since thre spread is only a few inches over a standard tandem. On semi trailers the spread can be huge making better weight distribution as well.

This trailer is an ATC.
 
Triple FTW! Does eat the rear tires off faster though going around tight corners. Makes you keep good tires on the trailer though so you don't have blowouts from tire rot from them being on there too long.
 
I agree. Looks a lot better. I also got the skirting and reverse beaver tail. This might be my last trailer. Might as well get everything I want. lol I am torn on color though.

I am thinking the color in the picture above.
