Sportsman 500 Problem...Won't Start

Hoping for a little bit of help on this.....

I have a 98 sportsman 500 that won't start. I have tested and have fuel going to the carburetor. New fuel pump and the amount of fuel getting to the carburetor is correct. So I must have a problem with the carburetor, however I can't seem to figure it out. I have pulled it out twice and gone through it top to bottom and cleaned it. I have checked the vacuum like that goes back to the fuel pump and that is good (no cracks or leaks). The ATV cracks with no problem and after you let it sit for a bit with the fuel turned on it might almost pop, but never starts.

Any thoughts?

If you are sure you have fuel, pull the plug(s) after trying to start it and see if they are wet.

If they are, then you have a spark issue. Put a new plug in it and try that.

If you still cannot start it, pull the plug and put the plug boot back on and rest the plug on the engine so the plug threads are resting on the engine. Try and trun it over and see if you see a spark arching across the electrode.

Lets start there......
