bowslayer, my buddy can't go till fri, but wed prob. would be the best day, right after the storms and a clear forecast. Do you ride there much?
I have ridden Burke some, but I don't think...
that there would be enough snow. I think taft or something around lookout would be good though. Guess I will find out. John

5 weeks and counting until I'm off this blasted island and get to ride.
dude...your on the island for 5 weeks and WANT to come home...I would sleep in a bow on the beach to be there for 5 weeks....this economy is really getting me down....make ya wanta say heck with it and git rid of everything and start over more simply...

lol, I've been on this island for 12 months now...I can only handle summer for a few months at a time, not year round! It would be fine for a vacation but living here and not being able to sled is killing me.

Had a good ride out of Burke fri. Stayed on the Mullan side, went by a warm up hut, up there, and a groomed trail. Does that trail come up from Mullan? Would that be a quicker and smoother way up, by parking at Mullan?

I'm going "local" and cheering for Dungey!!! Not only is he MN but out of the bunch he and RV seem to be the most appreciative of fans, etc. I always liked Reed, but he was kind of aloof this year in the pits.
