A huge thank you to Zach and Spirit Lake Polaris for getting my 2012 Pro back together with a complete short block from PII in about 10 working days:first:

Sled is back on the mountains ripping it up:face-icon-small-hap

Here is to hoping for many more miles on this engine than the last and lots of CO snow this year:yo:

You might have seen my brother being towed back in on a 2011 Pro that lost some rollers in the primary...but my 2012 was towed back in up at Togwotee on Dec 8th.

What went bad on the 12? How many miles did you have on her?

2012 lost the cylinder skirts, piston skirt, and the crank. Even chewed up the reeds during it's short lived "ting, ting, ting" time...

600 miles on the nose, and those were with extra oil added to the gas tank each fill up...I know, I know, added oil doesn't correct the fitment/clearance issues Polaris HAS to address...but I thought I treated this engine fairly well during it's 600 mile tenure. She still let go on me though:face-icon-small-fro

Just make sure your sled has coolent in it! :yo:

I looked the sled over before riding it...everything looked pretty good. It's ran 100 miles so far, so hopefully this engine will last me a long time;). God I hope so!!!

Just double check everything they do!

All the key guys from SLP are gone, I got my sled back with 2 qts of coolent missing, temp sensor unplugged and the idle was set around 2700 rpms. All after they installed new injectors on my sled.

I really like all the new guys! But till they get he QC straight, I'm out.
