Spindle removal question

X2 back off the nut so its flush with the bolt and one solid hit with a hammer it will pop out

Do not EVER hit the threads regardless if there's a nut on it or not. The nut is just incase things get aggressive so there's still hope to save the threads. Do not pound on the threads to push the joint out...

You always hit the spindle where the ball joint goes into, and this is on EVERYTHING. Car, truck, quad, tractor, etc, etc

Ball joint separators GENERALLY ruin the rubber as do pickle forks.

If the joints is getting replaced, tear it up. But if you need to reuse it, don't use those tools...

$20 at harbor freight.
No damage to boots or paint.
Rather silly not to use it...

I was just cruising down the trail in June........and bam, the arm bent all by itself....[emoji1787]
Or, i thought a wheelie would be fun and in the shade of the trees, snow was much harder and no ski lift, just forward momentum.
