spindle brace to short?

Spindle brace question. Got all mounted and go to put in the support brace . Problem is it doesn't fit snug between the spindle ears. I'd say 1/8 to 3/16 gap. Do they all fit this way or is mine a bit short.? Seems to be a lot for the clamp bolt to pull it over snug

spindle brace

If you're referring to the aluminum cylinder with a threaded hole on each end, that should fit exactly flush between the sides, no way are you going to bend anything to make that fit. Not sure how that could happen but just call Tsled and they'll sort it out for you. Or post a pic so we can confirm what you're seeing.
You could put washers in there, but why bother cause that's exactly not right either. You could certainly get by with washers till you sort it out because none of the earlier kits even had that spacer anyway.

The gap is big enough I can watch the bolt thread into the shaft. Thinking the spindle is out if square somehow

I just looked I used a washer on one side. Just like the marks on the driveshaft on the bearing upgrade kits are off, u gotta go with what works not what should be.

Timbersled gave me washers to make the spacer fit. Mine didn't need it since the spindle side plates were not even close to flat. Looks like the welding on these spindles leaves a lot of tolerance to make these spacers fit. Unfortunately it also causes the spacing between the forks to be off in my opinion...

That's the concern I have is proper fork spacing. Weird how some are snug and others are loose . That should be checked in quality control.

Talked to my dealer and he said all his installs are a snug fit. See what timbersled says.
