Speedwerx "powder advantage" tunnel dump Muffler Installed!!

Just installed the Speedwerx powder advantage tunnel dump muffler system and figured id share since I'm extremely happy with the product. Here it is:

Snowmobile:
2010 M8 HCR, 800 miles, speedwerx clutch kit, all stock other than that.

Product:
Speedwerx powder advantage ceramic coated muffler. Instead of exiting by the shock well it, reroutes the exhaust exit point to the tunnel, right above the right side footwell. Helps in situations were snow can bog the machine.

Install:
Directions were very straight forward. Some cutting of the footwell and a hole in the tunnel are required. A template is provided in the instructions. Speedwerx suggests using a long list of air powered tools. Its a tight working space. I used a dremel with a flex shaft. Worked great, a little bit of patience is required. Took me about 3 hours taking my dear sweet time.
P.S. Don't have a dremel? Dread the 100 plus $ you need to spend on one? I didn't own one before this, I went to Lowes ready to drop 150$ on the dremel(100$) and the flex cord kit(40$)...however, after talking with one of the sales reps he convinced me to by the "Blue Oxen" dremel knock off, and then buy some of the dremel brand supplemental bits. 40$ and it came with a flex shaft. 55$ I was out the door with a Blue Oxen and enough bits to do this install 10x over again.
The existing exhaust hole...I covered it with aluminum furnace tape for now, I will eventually order a frogskin shock tower vent kit to put in it place...

Sound:
Speedwerx claims a 4db loss over stock. At idle the machine is slightly louder and has that nice "ping" tone to it. Mid and upper ranges were not louder than stock. I think it sounds amazing. Plus having the exhaust exit in the tunnel muffles some of the noise.

Performance:
Everyone loves horsepower right? You'll get it with this. Defiantly added some power on the mid to upper end. Put a nice smile on my face :face-icon-small-ton

Cost:
489$ ceramic coated off the website, 379$ painted.
I did not pay this...hunt around...there are deals out there.

Again, I love this product. Get one get one get one!

4 lbs hardly seems worth all that work. It looks just as big as the stock one too. But looks all right glad you like it :)

Weight loss...i left that out.
the weight savings is actually about 12 pounds, weights WAY less than the stock cinder block.
Speedwerx claims a 4 Decible loss...WOT its about the same as stock. 0-1/3 throttle its definatly a little louder.
