Speedometer Calibration?

I just bought a 2012 M1100 turbo. I am having trouble with the speedo. It is off(fast) by about 20mph. I say about because, I have not gps'ed it yet, but i checked with the average trail speed when I was with a group, they said we were going 50mph, my speedo hoovered around 70mph. It has a Boondocker EZ Jacker on it with an exhaust. I was also told it is clutched for 220hp, i am not sure how. The odometer reads 2000 miles. I am afraid if the speedo is off this much, the odometer is off by quite a bit too.

do you have stock drivers on. They might have been changed out for smaller ones. If your speedo is out that much your actual mileage on the sled is less than it reads.

Sounds like it is showing metric (kilometers instead of miles). I can't remember how to chnage that setting in a stock gauge though...
