Speedo question

I’m sure it has been answered before, but I can’t find it.

I have a pro that I put the 2.6 track on and the axys 7 tooth drivers. I believe the sled is now geared down 12%?? from the 8 tooth drivers. Therefore the speedometer is off.

Is gearing down from 8 tooth to 7 tooth drivers a 12% reduction? if not, what is it?

Does that percentage make the speedometer off by that same amount? Will the odometer rack up miles that same percentage faster?

Stock final ratio (8t 2.86) is 2.10 and with 7t 2.86 drivers it is 2.39

that equates to approx 13.85% in reduction.
does the speedo and odometer read approx 13.85% faster then?
