Speedo calibration after gear swap??

Did a BDX M8 gear swap on my 09 M-1000 and now the speedo is way off..
Is there no way to have it recalibrated?? Talked to two different dealers w/ no results... Could I use a M8 pickup and sensor??? Never had a sled up to 125 mph before.LOL!!!!!:D

There's no need to recalibrate the speedometer, it reads directly off the right side of the track driveshaft. Sounds like something else is messed up.

Did you have the big nut off on the driveshaft?

X2 speedo pickup is at the track drive, so re-gearing would not change speedo operation.

Did you put smaller track drivers on?

I sure don't mean to insult, but is it possible you have inadvertently switched to kilometers on your speedo. :D
