How about old guys driving Toyota's that are still capable of driving as fast as the conditions permit?

I think that may be part of the problem, as you grow older it seems most peoples "as conditions permit" gets slower and slower! if you can keep up with the 85% more power to ya' but once you drop below its to the curb maybe have special hours like between 10 and noon and 1 to 4 for senior citizens, and of course all day sunday

Great video. I did a paper for a law class 10 years ago that had very similar findings - that the safest group of drivers were those who routinely drove 10-20km/h OVER the (highway) speed limit. You had to go up to those doing 40km/h++ over in order to have similar crash stats to those doing 10 km/h under the limit....

The worst conditions imaginable are being surrounded by young, inexperienced drivers who have no clue how to react to any of a variety of situations that adversely affect the handling characteristics of their vehicle.

I believe they are working on technology to grind up old people in to some type of super-combustible paste that will be used to make other old people's RV's less slow, so that young people can get to the beer store in a more reasonable amount of time.

that is the funniest thing i've read in a long time! if it was only true! now we just need to decide whats old i'm 47 so it must be much older than that...
