Specific build dates on the 2011 Oil Line Recall?

I've owned 2 2011 RMKs this year. The first I bought from the dealer as a holdover and was told that the recall would have been done on the sled since it was still at the dealer when the recall happened. Made sense to me...

The second I bought used with 200 miles on it. I called the dealer yesterday to double check the VIN to make sure the recall had been performed and the service guy tells me that my VIN doesn't fall under the recall?? This is the same exact model sled that they told me a few months ago that the recall had been done on.

Does anyone know if it comes down to build dates? Why else would one 2011 need the recall and another not need it... What can I check to verify that this sled definitely doesn't need a recall. This is the first sled I've owned that I've spent this much money on so I might be being paranoid but I REALLY don't want to have to pay for a motor in a sled I already paid so much for.

just check the line yourself, and I would be sure to check if the oil pump is adjusted properly while your at it, most require 2-3 turns to get the mixture to the 40-1 range, many threads on this topic. And yes its mostly the early sleds that need the recall.
I always add aprox 1 oz/gal premix to my gas as well, oils your friend ;)

for sure. I started looking into the oil pump adjustment when I noticed last weekend that my 2011 RMK only uses about 1/2 the oil my 2008 D7 used. My 2011 only has 200 on it so hopefully there hasn't been any significant damage to any bearings. I'm going to give it 2 turns before my ride this weekend and measure to see where I'm at ratio wise.

Can someone tell me where I need to look for problems on the oil line? Wasn't it rubbing on the chasis somewhere or something? It seems to me that the routing directly behind the bottle could be a spot that eventually could rub through. Although the oil line has plastic conduit casing around it, it still sits right against metal directly behind the oil tank coming off the fitting.
