8 Sparwood boys identified

just found this

Police haven't officially released their names, but those missing or dead have been identified as Warren Rothel, Thomas Talarico, Kane Rusnak, Danny Bjarnason, Leonard Stier and his son Michael Stier, Kurt Kabel and Blaine Wilson.
The eight were part of a group of 11 men, believed to be in their 20s and 30s, who were experienced in the sport of snowmobiling but were not considered veterans.

They were concidered buy many as (as good as you can get) these boys could ride with anyone. They were prepared with all the latest safety equip. and were raised in the area. These weren't city boys out for a trail ride. They knew their stuff. There only mistake was staying to help a buried friend. Thats a bunch of heros to me. God bless their soles.

Man, it was a bad weekend. The national news was talking about the avy in BC and the one here in Colorado tonight. They are talking about how bad the snow slabs are this year. It might be the year we stay off the mtns.

Gives snowmobilers a bad wrap.
