Spark plugs?

My wife has a 2008 600 sdi (summit adrenaline) and I went to get some spark plugs (br8ecs) from the stealer today, well I almost crapped my pants $36 (cdn) for 2 plugs!!!! what the hell, do they at least mix you a drink at the end of the day? Is there another plug that is just as good? Thanks for any info.

I believe it would be a solid tip vrs a screw on tip...i think...someone can correct me if i'm wrong.

No, the ECS plugs are designed to help prevent detonation issues; they are a safe plug but tend to foul easy. The ES version is your vanilla, low cost standard plug. They work fine but I've found the extended electrode versions (more aggressive) work better like the BPR-8ES.

Have FUN!

Thanks for all the help people, now that I know I dont have to buy the stealers plugs, I will bring them back and get something different, but I have 1 more question What should the gap be ? Thanks again.
