spark plug wire clip

I just had to replace a spark plug wire on my 06 Summit 800. There is a small clip that holds the wires in the computer, and I keep breaking the clip. What is the trick to installing the clip?

What do you mean by sparkplug wire connecting to the computer. Do you mean coil?

I took the CPU off and then it was easy to put the clip in.
