My buddy and I are heading to Cooke leaving on the 14th and returning on the 22nd. We are located in Wausau,WI. We have 2 open spots in an enclosed trailer and crew cab pick-up truck. We will be taking I-94 West. If anyone is interested please call 715-571-9884 or 715-213-6589 as soon as possible.

It would be really cool if you were headed to Togwotee. Those are the dates that I'm looking at, just not sure if the group is going to be able to swing it this year.

It's one of the deepest years out there, I can't just ride out there once on a year like this. It would be just wrong.

3 of us from LaCrosse, WI will be heading to Cooke to meet up with sled_guy and a some other guys from WA, MT and ID. Should be a great time, we'll see ya there!

Some of you better get there earlier then the others or it will all be tracked up. That's a lot of people for Cooke City.:p

I've heard from the locals in Cooke that numbers are off dramatically this year. Be a shame to have to share it with only 10 people or so.

We'll be hard to miss... I think we have a 1200 motor to finish putting in a chassis in the parking lot. :)

A couple reasons I bet it's off this year is most of the midwest, well all of the midwest got snow this year. Enough to ride on, nothing like real western snow but the guys who go from the southern part of WI and MN as well as IA have had plenty of snow to run around in.

Also the economy and fuel for all those rigs to transport sleds out there is getting to be the single biggest expense on the trip. It's hard to soak up somewhere between $500-750 in fuel just to go snowmobiling.
