Southern Colorado remote trigger slide

Buddy of mine was in the group that triggered this slide. No one was caught, they were traveling in a safe spot (four sleds). Remote trigger from 250 yards away from the slope, across a small valley. Estimated crown height of up to12-16' and around 1/2 mile wide. This was south of wolf creek pass, up on the divide (west of sheepshead). Stay safe out there!!

Miracle nobody died in the last weeks time. Sun most likely saved some lives.


Only other sled slide I know of was up by Granby, don't know if it was remote, but their wasn't an injury report.


Wonder if they're calling this Wolf slide slab, or wet?
