You are so predictable. I am not a "Libby". I was out riding dirtbikes and 4 wheelers yesterday at Spring Creek. Smokin dope at 12,000 feet. You cant label me. I am not a clone like you. I would be pissed if they closed the area in Dillon behind the landfill. If i dont have to work I want to go to the meeting to protest.

I think its unfair because people have been riding back there for so long, and its outside city limits. I dont think the noise would be any worse than everyones dogs around here barking all day.

It's the rich second home owners in Corinthian Hills that have already closed down the access from Water District property.Trails were there before their homes,but they have money and political connections.
Mountain bikers also beware......this is the first step...any area's turned into wilderness are also off limits to any type of mechanized travel this includes bikes.
Next will be our sledding areas

Mtn Bikers are aware of the dealings in Summit. There was an article the other day about designating the Southern borders of Summit County roadless. Joining the Pike Natl Forest Wilderness designation. They say that they (Wildlife) needs more migtation space due to the fact that Ski areas have impacted these patterns. (In a nut shell). Bye Bye riding in Summit.
Heaven forbid they close or change some ski areas.........
It is irritating, the ski areas have such a great impact year around, including IN wilderness areas and yet the enviromental groups just leave them alone. At the end of the day, Its all about $$$$$$$
