Alright so I've been talking to some friends of mine, and we've been discussing all the negative aspects on the news. That you talk to people these days, and it seems like the whole world is gonna come to an end and we're all gonna die. So I'm curious what if the news just switched it up and reported more good things, so people weren't so freaked out and started buying things? Reason I brought this up also is the BF works for a car dealership, and the owner said to block all new stations (CNN, FOX, etc..) because of all the negative nancy business. To bring up car sales.. I know the facts are facts, but I do feel news stations blow everything through the roof. ;) Just curious what you fellas think :)

I agree. I think that alot of the sheep would follow what ever the T.V. reported. If they told us the good news that is happening out there it would change the moral of everyone. :beer;

Agreed, and that is why I haven't watched any news since the night Comrade won the fixed election.

The media is as corrupt as our GOV:mad:........ the driving force behind the Dem party.......

I say we clean house on both and start over.

RLG for PresI will clean up this chit!!!:face-icon-small-hap

i agree.bad news is depressing people.then they top it off with octomom every night to really piss people off.

Bad news makes me unhappy also but not telling it on the news or in life doesn't change the reality of the situation. Times are tough right now. I hope they get better soon. Many good hard working people are having a rough go of it. Having said that, I appreciate Sledchick's(and others) thoughts on this subject and it sure wouldn't hurt to try.

I agree thats why i just dont watch the news anymore. all it does is report who killed who and how bad the economy is right now.

On the news today they were showing the tent citys in Cal. sad story.
It should at least be 50/50 on the news.
