got a lot of rain down low but i was thinkin sonora might be good. The Snotel at Leavitt lake shows 81 inches but who knows if thats correct. Curious if anyone has ridden lately. Thanks.

Wed morn 1/28 from the eastside I hit the very last of the untracked fluff along 108. Very thin below 8500 and already a few spores of the blacktop fungus. Spent all awesome Wed above Leavitt - finally some wide open runs. Plump & fluffy above 9000 for the most part and no instability, but is somewhat uneven... huge drifts beside inch-thin skiffs, praise be to reflexes... Already many trax by wed afternoon - way, way mostly by shawn. lol Good hunting...

We have had storms too far apart and too hot between the storms to build a base. The riding is like the last ride you would do before summer.

Suppose to have lots of snow storms between 5 FEB and 5 March.

The snow has been sooo good up there. We just got a few good dumps so its real deep. Went to the bridgeport ranger station and discussed bounderies. They have some real funny **** going on up there. If you stop by, make them give you the good toppo map. Watch out for the donut hole.
