Sonora Conditions

So I live in Northern California and have written off the snowmobile season over 2 months ago due to lack of snow base. I recently heard of decent conditions in Sonora. Anyone have first hand knowledge? I cant stand the thought of waiting until december to ride. If i could do a long day of road trip to ride it would make me very happy. any insights?

As of late yesterday the Pass was closed on both sides, was snowing at 7000 last night, there will probably be some snow on top, but the FS is watching this like a hawk they were giving some crap to some guys a week ago about not enough snow at the ridge lines!
