It has been a good year. The attached photo was taken on May 20. Lots of snow left up high. I am planning a 4th of July ride this year.

All of this great late season riding is great. It must be due to global warming. Guffaw! A hoax laid on us by the treehuggers I think. The climate changes a lot. However, I don't think human activity has much to do with it. The 1930s had brown winters in Idaho. The late 1800s were characterized by cold wet winters with huge snowfall. Sh#t happens but not because of what we do when it comes to the weather. I am enjoying this great snowfall and laughing at all the phony climate change experts.

by the way

enjoying the back country snow in late spring is great.

Unfortunately in Montana our late season riding is not as good as it was in 1965. Our snow packs leave in late June and used to be with us until late July. Caused by ? You guess.

I believe that we have climate change occurring all of the time. I just don't think it is as much man caused as it is natural. We have a lot of snow left in the high country evidenced by rivers being at flood stage or higher for the last 2+ months. I also know that we suffered through so called brown winters in the 30s according to my father. I also know that the late 1800s were characterized by brutal winters with very deep snowpack. Man caused or just nature doing its thing? I don't really know but the scientists don't address recent past climate variances very often. Why? Do they have ulterior motives or ?
