Sometimes Spring riding is the BEST!

Nice Video. Was up there on Tuesday the 19th and Saturday the 23rd and it was fantastic. Best riding of the year. Too bad the 60+ degree weather had to come so early. Gonna shoot the $hit out of the spring riding this year.:face-icon-small-sad

Post what you find. Talked to a guy last night that rode Burke yesterday and he said it was OK. Still not running through mud leaving the parking area. Wanted to go this weekend but riding in the rain kind of sucks.

Ended up going to Burke today (Friday). The snow is going fast and the coverage is REALLY thin until you get above 5500'. The snow was slush on top of mashed potatoes. It rained hard almost all day (wet snow above 5500'). Crappy conditions, but still better than sitting at home!

If we don't get a good dump soon, my season is over. :(

Went to Superior on Saturday and could see new snow looking back towards the warming shelter from Lookout. Looked like there was a little new snow on top of Lookout. Hopefully will be cooler this week.

Rode Burke on Sunday the 14th of April. About 10" of new snow which was great but it had covered up some obstacles that had surfaced after the warm weather of the last few weeks. Had to be really careful. Snow got heavy about 1:00 in the afternoon. Lots of rocks and stumps where people had been cutting the banks. I hate to say it but the season may be coming to an end. :face-icon-small-sad

Noooo don't say that haha We rode Thursday just across the border and had 20" of fresh and didn't see too much for melting quite yet in BC!
