Took a ride yesterday and had the TORS activated a couple times. Seemed like it was when I had the handlebars turned to the left and let off the throttle. I experimented with it a little and found that the throttle was being engaged ever so slightly with a left turn....yep, my conclusions were the throttle cable.
Upon inspection, I found the lock nut had backed itself all the way loose agains the hex adjuster and allowed the adjuster to back itself out, increasing tension on the throttle cable and giving me not only TORS (which was working like it was supposed to) but also a slightly higher idle (1700ish).
So, might wanna check to make sure your throttle lock nut is tight the next time you have the covers off.
Btw, my sled has just over 600 miles on it and yesterday was the first indication of this situation.
