On a happier note: they didn't succeed! 
Not for lack of trying..... Anyone who's been here, knows that the switchbacks on P-trail, between the Ranger Station and Ranger Creek, are pretty narrow and you can't see around the corners.
WHEN IT GET'S TIGHT, STAY TO THE RIGHT!!!!!
And slow down a bit. On my way down this afternoon I had a near miss - 5 times!!!! Some guys were racing up, even trying to pass each other in blind corners. I know it's tempting.... we've all done it and yes, me too! But I've learned from that mistake and I hope these guys will too! Cause next time I won't be so nice to just let them go..... and the last thing you want is to see me angry.... or in pieces stuck to your hood and helmet!!!
