So I'm watching MSNBC show the aftermath of Ike and they're talking to people...
This one dillweed is bi*ching because his area didn't get ordered to evacuate.
He's also whining because his car is out of gas & he can't get any.
Another woman is whining because she drove all night trying to find a place
that had gas......you guessed it.......she's out of gas. (maybe she shouldn't have
driven all night:rolleyes:)
Then you have people who were evacuated and their area wasn't hit as hard
as expected, so they bi*ch about that.

People have lost homes that are built on pylons over the water.
Gee, who'da ever seen that happening:rolleyes:?

All this bi*ching about things that people should be figuring out for themselves!

All I can say is I'm glad it gets cold here so those folks don't migrate this far north!

With all of that stupidity, my prayers still go out to those in need.:(

Well put...Do you see us *****ing when the weather hits -40 for a week or two straight?? No, because we prepare and are ready for it within the first sign of bad weather. Our storms don't give us a week of warning like these hurricanes do. My message to those people...Move to mexico, I hear the weather is nice there!!!

20,000 people in Galveston ignored the order to evac. then they wonder what happened to their homes. It's too bad what happens in the Gulf coast, but you gotta help yourselves sometimes.

Hey Maf how much federal aid did you get when you got hit by that wind storm and it looked like you got hit by Ike????? Hope things are gettin back to normal. I know I didn't see you guys biotching about it on tv.

There was no disater declaration for us.
That's ok.
We are able to help ourselves & we helped those who were unable.
The ministerial assoc. brought in help to walk fields of crop to remove debris so they could be harvested, but other than that, we pulled up our big girl panties & got to work......and damned proud of it!

We are very fortunate that these people choose to stay south!:D

Natural Selection used to be a good thing......until politicians, lawyers, and the medical world got involved. Now there is just a lot of waste of good oxygen.

Generally speaking the farther south you go the more lazy azzes you run into. I remember a newscast from Oregon several years ago. They had one heck of a big early season snowfall. The State and the Feds were positive they would have to rescue alot of hunters. When they flew the chopper in to rerscue the hunters they were all having the time of their life and wondered what all the excitement was about.

Ya, storm's, yesterday fuel went up 13c a liter (Like 50c a gallon) because maybe a storm might thrash up some oil derrick's perhaps
Maybe the oil companies can take this newfound Billion dollar windfall and help out some victims
K.............That was funny
