I see your Cash for Clunkers was a great sucess. I can tell you if I saw this car going to Cash for Clunkers I would definately have beat the driver senseless and taken it. What a waste of a perfectly good RARE and valuable machine. Makes me wanna cry.
They can spin cash for clunkers any way they want, but the truth is where are the lower priced cars for the less fortunate people going to come from for the next few years? It was not a very well thought out policy IMHO.
#7 vehicles less then a year old were also traded in. I do believe that most people are retarded. It is just the few of us that can keep them halfway on the straight.
Need to find out where the dealer made the deal to destroy those kind of cars. Our local dealer had some clunkers come in that had some decent usable stuff on them, found out where they were headed and made the deal with the salvage yard for the parts.
I don't think that the dealer has to destroy a CFC vehicle. I think that the dealer can pay the rebate to keep the car if they choose to. Not 100% sure.
Makes Me Really wanna PUKE!!!! Swampy sent me this link and I literally got sick. Not a GNX but The one vehicle more than any other I wish to god I still had was my 1984 Buick Regal Grand National! that was one great machine. Monte SS's, z/28's even Corvettes could not keep up. Fastest production car made in the USA during it's years. GNX came into being because Chevy tried to beat the G/N and made mods to the Vette to accomplish it.....So did Buick...with the same results! DAMN I miss that ride!
And it got 18-20 MPG.
