some one was talking about watercross on 99.9 today

some dude into the mens room and was talking about a water cross competition somewhere in southern wa where there are three catagories ....jumping,drag racing,and something else. i guess a ramp gets set up on the water and everything i think they said its around centrailia but im not sure. does this have anything to do with the other thread posted the other day?

I heard that same call. You're not going to ride the D-8 in the h20 are you?? I have a 975 you can ride...
 
Unless the entire lake is private property, like the one down by Chehalis, you will play he11 getting the permits for this.

In Washington, the speed limit in ALL lakes is 8 MPH within a few feet of the shore...I can't remember how many feet though, Maybe 25 yards?

8 MPH on a sled would be impossible! :eek:

That's why it's so hard to set up one of these events on a public lake.
You'd have to start everyone from one barge and race to another to be legal.
