Some info on a 06 rev longer track and more power...

Hey all,

I have a 06 rev renegade 800Ptek. I got a 151 in it now. I would like to strech it to a 166 or a 174 either a 2.5 or a 3 inch paddle. Ice age rails? Extensions? Any recommendations? Also looking at getting some more power.. Bigbore? Porting? Any recommendations on which way to go there? All the help would be great. Thanks.

My 2 cents is go with Ice Age rails, and either Big John (Sleds head Racing) or Kelsey (RK Tek) for added power.

Call Kelsey at RK Tek. I put on of his kits in my 04 summit 144. and it walked on a 154xp 800 and a 153 m1000 that was modded up. His kits make stupid power and they are reliable. Great customer service also.

I have a 06 with a 162 x 16 x 2.5 camo extreme a set up that works well. To install change drivers to 7 tooth avids with 3.0 or 2.86 pitch to match your new track( not wahl bros many people have problems with theres). I would go with longer rails if you have the funds. 3 inch paddle is to big to fit with out lots extrs work. I have seen people use 8 tooth drivers but its very tight. You need to install a big wheel kit at rear. or relocate the skid back if you use stock rails
