Solid Turbos - Kratos Turbo Kit - Matryx/Axys

INSANE! this kit is the real deal, finally a aftermarket kit that works. No lag. Instant response and top end power from hell. They have a good running tune for 5lbs and pump gas but I wanted to run 7lbs and av gas mix so me and Tyler at solid have been working on a tune and got it dialed In. The quality, fit n finish is next level with the kit and clutching for 5lbs kit comes with is dead on.
I'm pulling a 44 degree helix and 85 grams of primary weight and still was hitting 8750 8800 today. Need to add 2 more grams at least. Sled is a beast on 5 and unleashed on 7. The best part is the people who sell this product, they are top notch, I have never had support like this with any product I have ever purchased. The potential for power is upwards of 275hp because of the larger injectors they are using. I was going to do 10 psi but that is pushing it with no intercooler and really it has plenty on 7psi. I'd guess around 235 240 ish on 7psi.

Did another 50 Miles today on the turbo 9r, running straight av gas, we added a little timing to the tune and it responded well. Riding through the trees today on and off the throttle in that 4500-7500 rpm range blipping the throttle and I can honestly say this thing has zero lag! Response is just like a stock 9r until you grab more throttle and it then just makes massive power. Next is try the rk rek billet head I have built for boost and try another helix with more angle.

Are you running a p22? How many grams of weight?

How’s your compare to a stock boost?
P22 with carbon sled fix, I'm spinning 87.5 grams at 84 8500 with a 150 300 spring and 44 helix. MUCH FASTER than a boost. Not even close. I can blow by a gen 5 doo on a climb 25 mph faster than gen 5 is going. I saw over 70mph track speed today at 5k feet in thick Washington snow. This is 7.3 lbs boost.

What track?

Runs fine on pump and 5psi, av gas is cheaper than non ethonal 92 here and I want to run 7-10 lbs so that's why I am running it. Track is 2.75 155

That's very impressive, if that's true!!

I have a 2025 doo 165 turbo so I can compare same day. The doo climbs better if you need too navigate tricky terrain, that sled is a Billy goat. But if you have a open hill the 9r turbo is just silly fast. I played around with clutching yesterday, loaded it down to 8k rpm which needed 91 grams on a 44 degree helix. It has more track speed clutched at 84 8500 rpm. This is all just on 7lbs boost lol.
If you just keep it pinned on a decent hill it just eventually tries to come over backwards at even 50-60 mph and this is a pro 155. It will really be fast with a 3.25. Yesterday was great for testing high load pulls the snow was wet and heavy, switching to a 42 degree helix, I got a little rpm pull down going from thin snow cover to deep wet snow, just a tiny bit to much helix.
