i made my own, just cut it in half ,drill some holes enenly place up the post slide a solid rod inside slide it back together and weld it up including all the holes and your done , mine cost less than 5 dollars to build and will not bend

What size of rod? Where are you drilling holes and what are they for?

I need to look at my sled, but I'm wondering if it would be possible to extend the post 3-4 inches by adding 3-4 inches of tubing. What do you think?
