solenoid valves on 2007 rev 800r

what do the solenoid valves do on or for the motor i can see hoses going to the 3d rave valves to the solenoid valves on the clutch side has three places where the hoses go one does not have a hose (is it supposed to be like that) and the other soleniod valve has a hose on it where the other one doesnt . also the one on the pullstart side keeps coming off i looked on a site called ronnies snowmobile parts (mail order ) if you click on oem parts then go through the steps of your sled the year etc it gives you detailed pictures of a lot of different parts on your sled and it looks like it doesnt show a hose to the one fitting where a hose would look like it would go but any info would help and if you know what the solenoid valve is for that would be great to thanks

The Solenoids control your rave valves. They need to be tight with no leaks especially the larger hose on the recoil side of the right solenoid.

There was a bulletin out that had the dealer make sure that hose was tight and no leaks. There is a test to make sure they are working properly.

The PTO Rave solenoid is only supposed to have 2 hoses. Yours are most likely routed correctly, but as S-B said, make sure the larger hose on the Mag side is not leaking. They were notorious for that due to the crappy fit at the factory, and there was a bulletin that addressed that.

A good fix from Mbomb over on Dootalk was to take the larger hose off and find a clear fuel hose that just fits inside the hose you removed and just over the nipple the hose goes onto.

Then put the clear hose on the nipple and cut it off flush at the end of the nipple.

Put the black hose back on with a worm gear clamp over the clear hose and nipple and tighten it up.

Should never be a problem again.
