Sold my ABS-30 need new pac???

Sold my ABS 30, Great pack you could put the kitchen sink in there! Which is why I sold it it had everything in there, I think I weighed it one time and it was 26 pounds! Getting to old, was looking for the lightest pack???? Only want my shovel and probes in there!Im snow biking now and theres alot of room on the tunnel so I need the absolute lightest pack,I see BCA has one at 5 lbs, is that the lightest?

Actually if you had the ABS Vario, you had the lightest as if your only running your shovel and probe in there then you can run the vario with the cover and a probe and shovel fit in there. This is the set up that is used for heli skiing..lighter than having a pack, I am thinking you had the ABS escape 30 which is a heavy pack. The new vario base unit comes when you buy it new in 2012/2013 with a cover, for those who want a pack the cover zips off and you add any size cover. cheers dave

I'd recommend the ABS Powder SB15 or the BCA Float 22 throttle. Both are very light packs. I personally think the ABS Powder SB15 is a more comfortable pack than the float 22.

I'm confused ,,on your web site are you pricing the packs with out the canister ,,so pack price + the canister price??
