Solar Battery Charger for Enclosed Trailer

Anyone using a solar panel charger / battery maintainer for their enclosed trailer? I was thinking a 5-watt panel would be enough to keep the battery fairly well maintained. I just use if for lighting when the trailer is not hooked up to the truck. I may slap a stereo in there at some point. I have two 15 or 18-watt panels on my camper that seem to do the trick all summer. So I figured a 15-watt panel would be over kill. Any thoughts?

The bigger the better.... especially if you plan on putting any more load on it in the near future.

assuming you store the trailer outdoors that 5 watt will be plenty. i would think about putting in an extra battery though. that 5 watt will do the trick but if you run any load on it it will kill the battery pretty quick. this is also assuming you only use the trailer on the weekend so it has all week to top off the batteries.

I have a good 12 volt marine battery in there. Switched to two 6 volt batteries in the camper, they are nice. There are a lot of solar chargers / maintainers on EBAY, and through RV outlets. Had not thought of the pannels for electric fences. Good idea. I pretty much use the trailer on my weekends.

I have a 1.5 watt I use during the summer to keep the batteries up when not in use. $15 at Princess auto.

I'm considering the whole solar panel charging option for my enclosed trailer.
I'm running 2 6vs and its wired to charge off the truck, but was considering installing a lower wattage, 10w? solar panel to keep the batteries maintained on the trailer and the sled (for when or if the sled sits in the trailer).
Between the ~2-3 hr drive back n forth to re-charge during the drive, and a solar charger, I would think I'd be pretty set??

Just wondering where and what to get?
Saw this with a quick search..

But looking for what others have or use.

Thanks.
