Soda Ride

Headed to Soda for a ride with family/friends for the first ride since losing our friend/uncle/brother/dad to the avalanche in Alpine. We had a great time and I hope it was somewhat therapeutic for his dauther/brother. I was given his boots and felt maybe we took Robert on the ride today. His daughter rode his turbo all day and was amazing. Her bumper sticker reads "remember, you're riding with a girl, try and keep up!"

Got some great shots - some I'll keep personal for them to have. It was an awesome day - deep snow didn't hurt. Thanks again to those who have sent personal messages.

Good on ya Nick. I looked at the Pics before reading and was wondering about the Boot Shot. So it was really cool to hear after I read the reasoning. Keep the spirit alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:);)

Girlpowder wanted to see the bumper sticker.

Thats great to hear. Glad you guys and gals had a great time.

I thought of them the whole time I drove through the canyon headed to Jackson on Friday. I even drove to the parking lot at Bedford and gazed into the bowls up above. What a day!

Looks awesome glad you got everyone out for a ride. You guys deserved it.

Looks like a good time.:D
So, it sounds like that sled was in the Avy and the owner didn't make it out.
Did I read that right?

Yes, its an 09 Dragon with an OVS kit using the 66 Aerocharger turbo. The sled was Robert Clarks, Nick's uncle. There was only a crack in the windshield that I saw when Babe brought the sleds out.

Robert's daughter wanted to keep the sled around in memory of her dad.:rose:
