Found a nice field up at the top of soapstone on Sunday! Still some good snow up top but beware of the bolder fields that are up there too. I heard two guys on some Ski-doo's didn't fair as well as we did. Have a Happy Thanksgiving everybody! Hopefully i can make it out there again this weekend...

Spent the day up in that area yesterday, and found some pretty good stashs. Nicked a few rocks here and there. Still pretty scary... We need more snow

Looks like you tore up one of the fields I wanted to on Saturday but just was not brave enough to do it. I had 8 guys in our group and just knew one of them would hit something. So for leaving that untouched snow for you to hit I say "You are welcome!"

And to that i say thank you! Yes still lots of hidden gems out there! passed quite a few open fields because i knew there were rocks in them. We got lucky with this one! Looks like possibly more snow for next week! Keep those finger crossed!

According to UDOT wolf creek pass and Mirror lake hwy are both closed, at this point this most likely means they are done plowing and you will be able to drive up till you hit snow to park. I would guess that both trail heads still do not have enough snow to ride from the parking lots, but I could be wrong, gates may be locked.

Bring on the Storms!!!!
With the roads closed we need to bring the snow in quick!!! Typically the gates don't lock up there until a storm big enough to truly ride out of the trailheads, however they may always pull a bonehead move and lock em up early
