So whats the magic oil combination??

Been doing a lo of reading here regarding the oil adjustment along with running a Doo oil cap. Has anyone done the 2-3 turns along with installing the Doo oil cap, not that more oil will hurt the engine..Comments?

Just do it, unless you like tearing down engines. I run the Paaso vented caps, but definitely turn up the oil. Polaris has to meet EPA standards, so the stock setting is something like 90:1. Turn up the oil to about 50:1 and your engine will last a lot longer.

My sled had the oil pump turned up when i got it (from carls cycle). I installed passo's tank vent and i was leaving oil streaks up the mountain. I turned it down ~1.5 turns and have it running ~40:1 if i recall correctly.

I also add a little to the tank whenever i fuel up.
