In the past month I have gone through some massive changes in my life. But my biggest accomplishment is losing 15lbs last month and I am still losing. For the first time in 8 years I am under 210lbs. :boxing: I found a new way to ride this summer and I am loving the new mountain bike. This mornings ride kicked my butt (6.2 miles) ohh but it was worth it. :face-icon-small-hap I feel awesome more energy I am happier and I cant wait to see how losing all this weight will help my riding this coming season. I plan on being under 200 lbs by the end of July and nearing 175 by Nov.

Congrats and keep up the good work. The hardest part is being mentally strong and keeping with your diet. I was at 225 a month and a half ago and Now am down to 212. Like you I feel much better with everything and I'm gonna try and be around or below 190 come winter. Once you get on a routine with excersise and eating good its easy! Again keep up the good work! Keep us posted.

Whats your diet..........

I do a protein shake mornings with banana or some other fruit then a good lunch some chicken or fish and some greens and a small dinner with power bars and stuff like that for snacks in between. I'm cooking for one now so its easier to buy healthy stuff. I cut out pop, candy, fast food, desert, and started drinking water instead of milk.

Good job, man!! I did the Body for Life program in 2005 and lost 35 lbs in 12 weeks. It was brutal. Diet plan was a lot like yours and I was working out cardio and muscle building/toning 6 days a week. I felt great and sledding was awesome. I have a very slow metabolism and couldnt keep up with the program, got bored with the food, lost interest, work too busy, etc. Over the years I put all the weight back on and am suffering for it now but have decided to be happy with the way I am.
Stick with it and enjoy the results this winter.

ahhh my stompin grounds as a kid growing up... Ford Canyon waterfall! Gotta love it... I spent so many hours in that canyon as a kid. I grew up right there at the mouth of the canyon and we up there every day in the summer as kids. Playing the orchards and building swimming holes in the creek. Man - I sound like I'm gettin old!

Congrats on the change of pace in life. I've been doing the same for a number of months now and have lost about 25 lbs. Nearly back to my target weight, but hope to drop another 10 or 15. Looking to be 185.

I have to give props to my wife for getting me out running, as much as I thought I'd hate it, it's addicting too. Ran the RAGNAR race in June and did about 16 miles in less than 30 hours myself. THe accomplishment was rewarding for sure. Ran a race on 4th of July and will run a 10k here in a couple weekends. Just came back from a 4.5 mile run tonight and feeling great.

Keep at it and be disciplined! Cheers...

Good job on your efforts. Only thing I would change in your diet is don't use powerbars etc as snacks. They are high calorie energy replacements to be used during long endurance exercises to replace calories and nutrients used while exercising. I would instead fine a lower calorie replacement like veggies or something. Just cutting out soda and fast food is huge. If you want to take it a step further, cut out all processed foods. Now that is a challenge, but it is much, much better for you.

Im on a roll

Thought I would share an update: I Found my stats from last years p90 start I weighed in on Aug 1st 2010 at 228 lbs I weighed in this morning Aug 3, 2011 at 209 lbs I feel good about that. :-) I got all the way down to 206 but I have started lifting a little and gained some muscle.

I took your advice but I started juicing veggies and taking the juice to work and I would drink that through the day. good advice adam thanks.

ive been juicin for 2 months, not not every meal or meal replacement its more of a supplement to "me", at least once a day, the biggest diet benefit i found is with cutting out all cow products will launch your energy to the moon, obviously an excessive amount of fruits and veg is the real key...try this: cut out meat (cow/pig) for 15 straight days then enjoy a juicy 5 guys burger....you (i) will be sick as a mofo and later permanently damage some plumbing....so whats taht tell me? seems our over chem/eng cows are some form of poison to "me", sure ive seen all the green this/that docs about our food industry but i dont read too much into propagada and i got my own brain and it works ok, so maybe im done with eating cow, not sure yet, still looking for a good balance in life, maybe i should travel to china and climb a big mtn and stand perfectly still for 5 days, i hear thats the key to peace and stuff???

im not really concerned about how much or how little weight (fat) i lose, its all about how i feel and how my body/mind can preform day in day out, i mean what if im walking down the street and a crip gang wants my shoes and fine time peice, i like my shoes, juicin will aid my fight effert against gangs who want my chit, thats my chit homes bess be ready to fin die S-A

-i stopped drinking alcohol 4 months ago, it was tough but im over the hump of wanting it anymore
- i also run/bike my arse off, love the burn of uphill, then the stress of downhill
- understand not everyone is the same, tailor your diet to what makes "you" feel better, not "look" better...looking better (slim and trim and sick with a mind form of pre-aids) will possibly turn your golf game into that of a mr CCpowder, take it form me sir, you dont want that pain in your golf bag...:face-icon-small-dis:face-icon-small-sho:face-icon-small-hap

ok not gonna lie, not all that is truth and most of it smells of hog piss

you sure you quit drinking?:face-icon-small-ton i eat what i want, but i bust my a#S for a hour at the gym every day, slalom on the lake a bit and have four kids. that seems to be enough for me.

nice work justin.

Balance your diet, limit fat (especially saturated) and avoid products with lots of sugar. Ignore anyone who tells you that cutting out every bit of one food group is a good idea.

I noticed allot of difference when I started juicing I feel better, I have more energy, I sleep better and wake up feeling good, and the depression of my divorce almost vanished. I am also happier and in a better place for my boys. Im taking life head on :boxing: I also lowered my resting heart rate balanced out my cholesterol and my heart burn has gone way down.
