1000 FEET...AND MAY FALL TO NEAR SEA LEVEL IN HEAVIER SHOWERS.
ANY SNOW THAT FALLS IN THE LOWLANDS IS UNLIKELY TO STICK...EXCEPT
BRIEFLY ON CARS AND GRASS. THE MOUNTAINS AND CASCADE PASSES WILL
SEE ACCUMULATING SNOW FRIDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...WITH ACCUMULATIONS
OVER THE TWO DAY PERIOD POSSIBLY BETWEEN 1 AND 2 FEET.

I love winters here.....

So I guess the question is, where do I want to ride powder at? Got bumpy trails?

most the older guys i know my age or older, the reason they dont have kids is cuz they have no skills getting the ladies.. doh!

i have a son, i get lots of days in, sled and board...
i think work is what slows ya down more than kids really, oh and if your wifey is down for the cause too, that helps

only the backside is open for sledding, front side is illegal, lots of hill there, i'm not really sure about the outerskirts, i just know the terrain so well from boardibng there for 20 yrs.. and uhhh, better believe i'll have my board in tote with me tomorrow.. mostly there to sled, but i'll get my board runs in too.. Corona Bowl is fun.. and 1200+vert hill climbs shnould be pretty fun too.. mellow, but fun..

What is Stevens like??

Steven's is pretty small... Once the front side got closed down it got even smaller! Up and over the waterfall in the back is out of bounds -though a lot have gone there... It's getting patrolled pretty heavily so I wouldn't suggest it. However, when I lived in Leavenworth it was always a must to go up there and stay in the parking lot on opening weekend. Always a great party -well excpet one year when it rained and we were the only ones who actually stuck around, we still had a great party!!

Anyway, it's fun, I'm kinda bummed I'm gonna miss it this year! There are lots of good natural terrain hits to be had... that's prolly the best part of it.... If you go, say 'hi' to any locals from Emilie!
