So I hit a non movable object

Was carving in a meadow and hit the top of a 50 gallon drum that was frozen in the ground , Bent the arms a little but i got them back cut a Simmons ski almost in half . All the other bent pieces were returned to proper place except the tunnel brace (I think that's what it is called) does anyone have one they want to part with before I make a trip to the dealer? some other items why not a necessity at this time but if I could pick them up at a decent price I would, clutch side spindle, clutch side upper plastic.

rocks and trees are understandable but dont you hate when you hit stuff like that! fence posts and (a 55 drum in your case) really stucks! i have bad luck to dont worry!

We were up diamond field jacks (magic mountain) about 2 miles south of the snowmobile parking lot, I believe the area was called fs flats. There is a lot of camping there during the summer and i think someone had used it for a fire barrel. I'm sure it wasn't a forest service one because it had to have been 3 foot outta the ground.

I went in to the dealer and seems just the one major part I need comes as an assembly thats 225.00 so with that being half of my deductible I guess I will turn it in and get everything fixed. D'oh!

I'd be careful using insurance. I did once and they wanted to drop me after one claim.:confused: I figure insurance is for major wrecks and theft.

Talk to "Laneo" on Totallyamaha. He buys and parts sleds out (I think). I am in the process of buying some things from him right now. He will probably have everything you need at half the price of new.

I will do that. In talking with a few of you by pm and other buddies most seem to recommend waiting till the big one to use insurance I think a little welding on that brace would get me by until a replacement can be found :beer;

How come you never screw up that bad when i am around:D

Um welllllll cause you would laugh at me. I always screw up your just always out in front where ya cant see :D
